You need to have the latest version of the Flash Player to view our videos.
This video is part of the Pocket Movie-Making project for Folly.
We’ve put together some frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help you with viewing videos on our website. If you’re experiencing problems, please feel free to contact us.
Q: I can’t see the video player
A: Make sure you have the latest version of Flash Player installed. You’ll need this to play video on most websites. If you’re still having trouble, please ensure that you have JavaScript enabled in your web browser (this is usually done in Settings).
Q: I can hear audio, but there is no picture
A: Sometimes people have this problem when viewing on a PC. Please try to refresh the page (by clicking the Refresh button in your browser toolbar). If you continue to have problems, please let us know.
Q: The video keeps stopping and starting during playback
A: This is probably due to your internet connection being a little slower than we expect. In the UK, many broadband services can slow down during peak times (evenings and weekends). If you pause the video, you can wait for the whole file to download, which will allow you to play it back without interruptions.
Q: Can I watch videos in full screen?
A: Yes. There’s a fullscreen button next to the volume control. Note though that you’ll need a recent version of the Flash Player for this to be available.
Q: Can I download a video?
A: Not at the moment. Because the work we produce is usually copyrighted, we have to be careful to maintain control over how our videos are distributed.
