July Update
It’s been a busy start to the Summer these last few months, and we’ve been working on some exciting new projects.

We were delighted to have the chance once again to work with Ulverston Victoria High School in partnership with Creative Futures Cumbria. The project involved judging a film competition and working with the winning students to turn their scripts and ideas into two short films. Both of the winning films turned out great, and are now on display to everyone within the school.
Last month saw us unleash two new websites. We worked closely with the new owners of Thorney How Independent Hostel to create a fresh and welcoming website, complete with an integrated booking system. The website has proved a hit with both the client and their customers.
And Dreamtime Film required a new website to show off their growing portfolio of film work. With Vimeo and Tumblr integration, the site has sprung to life, showing off some of their stunning work in glorious high definition.
Our work with Eldercare continues apace: this month we completed a new promotional film for their telecare services and the next phase for their website development. The clean, distinctive no-nonsense look we’re developing for them is helping them to stand apart from the competition.
It’s also been a busy few months with our branding and print work. For example, Shepherd Myers required some shiny new presentation folders designed and printed — we created a fantastic bold design for them and they were very happy with the result. Meanwhile, we’ve invested in some new technology to increase capacity for our DVD duplication and printing — we can now turnaround jobs even quicker, and at an even better quality.
We’ve been working with Whitewood & Fleming on branding for their new Cumbria’s Promise project, which they’re undertaking with Cumbria County Council. The distinctive logo and wordmark we’ve created for them will soon be seen splashed throughout the county, and we’ll be producing motion graphics for a film about the project, which is currently in production.
We’ve got some more great work in the pipeline, including a new project for Pioneer Projects, a nationally renowned arts and health charity. We’ll be creating an exciting new website that celebrates and promotes the work that they do.
So, a busy, busy Summer all round, and there’s loads more to come!
